This is nice. I received this yesterday from a very faithful reader. It appears to be for ecards but I didn't research it. Just follow the instructions for a nice smile to your day. Don't be impatient but let it finish.

Thanksgiving Divorce

This is a little humor sent in by a very thoughtful friend:

A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York the day before Thanksgiving and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough." "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.

We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this." She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay" he says, "they're coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way."

Driving In The Rain Safety Tip

This is a very good safety tip from a very nice supporter. I do believe this little known info will help a lot of people.

Driving in the Rain a 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaledher car. A resident of Kilgore, Texas, she was traveling between Gladewater & Kilgore. It was raining, though not excessively, when her car suddenly began to hydroplane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence! When she explained to the highway patrolman what had happened he told her something that every driver should know

NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON.

She had thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain. But the highway patrolman told her that if the cruise control is on and your car begins to hydroplane -- when your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed and you take off like an airplane. She told the patrolman that was exactly what had occurred. The patrolman said this warningshould be listed, on the driver's seat sun-visor

NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY,

along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the patrolman), was a man who had had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.

This is to say: THANK YOU

For all that you've done and all that you do. Many join the military and all have a different reason for doing so. As a collective the Air Force, Army, Navy, & Marines provide something special not only for themselves but for the rest of the world. We all touch each other in some way and for touching us...we say THANKS SO MUCH (Past and Present).

We send the Blessings & Peace of the Most High to you.

Happy Anniversary Hubby

This entry is to honor the one deserving honor on this day and tomorrow. Today is my Anniversary(where my hubby is), Tomorrow will be my anniversary(where I am). Usually when we're together we celebrate the whole week. This year we're in different hemispheres so we'll share a few days through time and space. So of all the things I yak about throughout the year I would like to take a moment and publicly share my celebration with my love.

Hubby:
In this life whether long or short we experience many opportunities, choices and decisions. When I consider all the opportunities that have come my way, all of the choices that I have made, and out of all decisions that I could've made...The BEST CHOICE I did make was to be married to you. You my Love are by far NUMBER 1.

I do enjoy your company and I not only feel but know that I have the BEST HUBBY this world has to offer. When I look back over our years together I often see my Grandfathers in you. You not knowing it have honored all of them by the way that you treat me. Thank you love for such a Wonderful Life!!!!!! Strange though, the certificate states that it has been 20 years but somehow it only seems like 2. Here's to seeing you and sharing an eternity with you dear.

I'm Loving you now and everyday of my life
