Have You Looked Outside?

Sometimes people say things that don't make very much sense. Or they say things that are of no use to us in our present state or any other state for that matter. Hopefully this isn't one of those times.

The year 2005 is quickly coming to an end and the 2006 th year is standing at the mark anxiously awaiting the signal to start. But before that happens we know there are 33 days left on the calendar year (from where I'm standing). There could be more or less from your location but that's neither here or there in the scheme of things.

The point is from the spot or place in time that you are presently in have you looked outside?
Everyone is given 24 hours for each day. It's up to you when you wake up and when you go to sleep. There are many who live in a somewhat controlled environment but it is your inner clock that wakes you up and causes you to sleep. I wake my son up at 6am every morning (schools only) but there are days when he chooses to wake up at 5am. I know for a fact when you may put children to bed at a certain time but they don't go to sleep right away. Even adults go to bed but many don't fall asleep right away.

My point is you determine when you wake up and when you fall asleep so during this time that you've been awake have you looked outside?

It doesn't matter where you are. It doesn't matter what you are required to do during the day. You can take a moment or two to look outside. If you can't go outside the house, building, or space you're in you can still go outside.

This can be done by everyone because as I always say: Everything boils down to your attitude and mindset.
You only need to look outside of yourself. You really don't have to use your physical eyes if you don't want to. You can close your eyes. Calm your thoughts. Then feel......
There is an force inside of you that will connect with the energy force that is flowing around and throughout the universe. I'm not a mystical or new age thinker. I strickly walking in the Word.

The more you connect with Him(this force), the more you will notice of the physical world around you. That is how to see things differently. You will not only see who is around you but you will see what is around you as well. The Father has breathe a portion of His Spirit into you when you were born. You're just going to reunite the portion that is within you with the greater part (Him).

Take a moment or as long as you possibly can to just look outside.

The Value Of You...A Chain Reaction

I would like to take a moment to tell you how much you mean to someone. You go to and fro throughout each day doing what you feel you can or must do. You deal daily with traffic or just down right nasty people. Your reward or lot seems to be about the worst anyone could get. But I'm here to tell you that is not so. There is always a lower place that you can sink to. You can have something more horrible happen in your life than what has already happened. There are many good and excellent things happening to you but you may not be able to see them.

Now that you've looked at what others and the world is doing for and to you, what are you doing for them? That is where you want to place your focus. Why? Because that's how you can measure your value. Just by saying a kind word or making a kind gesture to someone you can lift up their spirits. You can without knowing it save someone's life. We as mankind put the greatest value on human life. Some people never get an encouraging word. People watch you and you may not realize it but they will still watch you. They may never say anything to you but they note what you say and do. Even if you're in an area where people seem to constantly criticize you, there are others that take note of you. You can say that you are (without trying to)quietly mentoring others. You can touch others whether you try to or not.

You have the ability to change the atmosphere. I say that because when you go in a room and say things/do things to interact with others it can put them in a good mood or a bad mood. After you leave they will still be in the mood that you helped them get in. It's like a chain reaction throughout the day.

The most important thing though is when you become the highlight of someone's day or a lifeline for them. Just observe people throughout your day to see how you affect them and how people affect each other. You may be amazed at what you see.

With all the celebrations and preparations made for this time of the year, it really boils down to just one day.

It seems like there is too much time and energy given for an occasion that lasts only 24 hours. But if you take a closer look you will see a totally different picture. There are 24 concentrated hours of love and fellowship with loved ones. Many times loved ones stay miles away and take time to travel by train, plane, or automobile for this precious period of time. The love that fills these 24 hours is a love that creates. It has created generations of family members and memories that last a lifetime. This love can also energize and inspire others.

We look forward to this time because we get to spend time with loved ones that we may not have seen in years. We have very much to be thankful for. No matter what we have experienced or gone through, we still have within us the ability to change our circumstances. We also have the ability to affect change in those we come in contact with.

Human life is very fragile and fleeting so enjoy everyday to the fullest.

Really it's all in the way the human brains works. The brain also works in a simular way when words are left out of a piece of writing. It doesn't stop it just fills in the missing words and keeps reading. This is important to know when you're editing any type of writing. It is also important to know that the computer screen playing tricks with your eyes (strobes). The moniters and television screens flicker very fast. Most of the time you don't notice it but it has an effect on your eyes that show up in the form of larger amounts of editing errors.

This is a question I often ask others and I would like you to take a moment and think about it before you answer. Who is the most important person in the world to you?

The holiday season is almost in full swing
For some it's the most stressful time of the year

For many it is the most joyous and cheerful time of the year

So many situations and things happen to us in this life. Our attitude, perspective and outlook will always determine our moments and ultimately the kind of life we have. In all the we face and in all that we undertake and accomplish it is very important that we take a little time for ourselves. We sometimes need only a moment and then there are times that we may need more. When we can quiet ourselves and refresh our inner man we come alive and feel rejuvenated. We are able to start every day as if it's our first one. We better able and more equipped to help others around us.

Now back to the question: Who is the most important person in the world to you? I must say it may seem very difficult to name just one person. But it is important to narrow it down to only one. Did you name your loving spouse or one of your wonderful children? Maybe it's one of your adorable grandchildren. It could've said one of your many nieces or nephews. Don't you dare leave out your Mother, Father or one of your Grandparents. Then there's the Aunt's and Uncles. Hey what about your trusted and beloved friends?

Really in all honesty I must admit this can be answered quite easily.........It just depends on how you look at things. Remember it's about attitude, outlook and perspective. We will now look at how easy this question is to answer.

Without reservation or hesitation: You are the most important person in world. How can I say that with such surety? Easy! Stand still and look outward at the world...If you were not in the world there would be no world...For you that is. The whole world surrounds you. Big or small...You are the center of the world. Now without you here the world would center around someone else...That would make someone else the most important person.

We don't all need to be a celebrity, famous, or even the richest person in the world. We just need to know how important we are. With that comes the knowledge and the ability to reach out and help others.

Technology...You Gotta Love It!!!

I spoke with my grandchildren today. Today's children are amazing! I wasn't able to fly down this weekend to visit with them. On my last visits to Florida I wasn't able to visit with them because they seem to stay on the go as much as I do. They were on my mind and heart kind of heavy this past week. I found out yesterday that one of them had been a little under the weather but I was unable to contact them.

Well, this morning my daughter chirped me. I guess I'm saying it right. The mobile phone has a walkee-talkee feature on it and my husband and I are trying to get the hang of using it. Needless to say our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren have mastered using this feature.

I got the speaker phone function to work so everyone in the room was able to hear the conversation firsthand. I must say sometimes technology can be a pain but when you get the hang of it...WOW. We're in Virginia and spoke with family in Florida. We didn't have to miss a very important call because the mobile phone travels with us. So in the proper settings and at the right times technology is a Godsend.

Divide and Conquer...The Body is Fighting Itself!!!

I don't mean to beat a dead horse or cause any discomfort to anyone. But I've been part of several different denominations. That's why I can said they all (denominations),have their good and bad points. The doctrine is what chains us down and puts us in bondage because it isn't always in-line with what the Bible says (it's usually weaved/mingled with the Word, or stated in such a way that many don't question it). Different denominations are the result of disagreements or what was being taught and so someone started another one. The fact remains we are still one body that is suppose to do all things in love.

The most important and common thread that joins us is CHRIST. That makes us many members of one body. If you don't like the diversity of this body then you should never accept Christ. Because once you do you're stuck with us (each and every denomination). An example of this is how organizations function. Many people of diverse tongues and cultures come together for a common cause.

I can laugh at what I'm about to say because I was surrounded by people in more than one denomination that stated "the Internet is of the devil". They truly believe that. I took me a long time to understand why people are so quick to credit the enemy with the things that God does. The one reason Christendom fights and sometimes begs for prime time on TV. Some say that's the one-eyed devil (TV). The Television and the Internet can be used to minister in places that you'll never have to set foot in. How can such a powerful tool be credited to the enemy? Blindness and refusal to change. We can agree to disagree and do it all in love. Because the Holy Spirit is the one that brings light, truth, and understandable revelations not man. Man is just the tool.

39. "But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40. For he that is not against us is on our part. Mark 9:39-40

We must be vigil in our prayers and understanding for each other and the world. We must also be willing to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow Him if we as a body are to mature. The enemy uses denomination and religion to divide and conquer. We get so wrapped up in ritualistic things, arguing about denominational differences, and weighed down with denominational protocols until we act just like the world because we lose sight of Christ, love, and what He told us to do. We are fighting amongst ourselves and against the Body.

One thing is true: If we realize and act as if we're not perfect then we'll will be more open to the changes that the Holy Spirit will show us. This will cause us to come together as a body and help others is need. Once we come to the realization that no one church group is perfect and we each have a part to play (together) and combine our skills and attributes we will be able to sweep across the earth with very little opposition. We must wake up and come together if we are to prosper and take back what's rightfully ours. There should not be one person in the Body of Christ that cannot reach out and help a sinner (spiritually and naturally).

You must know that you are blessed and part of a wonderful diverse body and it's all because of Christ.

Harvest a Bumper Crop of Prosperity

You reap what you sow.
What goes around comes around.
You'll get it in the end.

I'm sure you heard one or more of these comments or something to their effect. Each culture or language has many parables or sayings that are similar in meaning.

Let's just think for a moment...If there is truth in these statements. Now if there is truth in them, what are you sowing/doing on a constant basis?

To sow (plant things/seeds)
This can take the form of thoughts, words, deeds, actions. What are you constantly thinking? What are you saying to yourself, loved ones, and strangers? What actions are you doing on a daily basis? And what things are you doing for others (big/small)?

To reap (harvest, get the fruit of what was sown)
Whatever you do in the above action of sowing will be determined what you receive as a harvest. Just keep in mind the harvest is much larger than the amount sown. What do I mean? Have you ever seen one seed (fruit, vegetable, or plant),come up as one apple/orange, one ear of corn/one bean pod, one leaf on a stem? The answer is definitely not-- it would look strange---it would also require a person to plant an enormous amount of seeds.

***One seed produces one plant (which isn't the harvest), this plant then yields its fruit in it's season. The result of an apple/orange seed is a tree full of fruit (each season), that can be enjoyed by many people. Now that is a Harvest***

"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."

II Corinthians 9:6

I believe that is one reason why people often say: "why is this happening to me". They may not be doing wrong but they are not sowing the right kind of seeds.

Sow you seeds for the kind/type of harvest that you want. If you want a good harvest sow good seeds. If you want an abundant/very large harvest sow many seeds.

"7. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

9.An let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Galatians 6:7,9

With that being said, when you go about your day why not speak good things upon the lives of those you meet? Why not do some good deed to/for them? It doesn't have to big things. Let someone get in front of you (in traffic/in the store). Tell someone to have a nice day or better yet a blessed day. Many only feel comfortable telling someone to be blessed when they sneeze.


"...remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Acts 20:35

They use to say: God bless you now most say: bless you. This was said to have started centuries ago in Germany because disease was running wild. When a person sneezed they thought it was a sign that they were catching a particular disease.

Also do it with a cheerful heart, otherwise it's not doing you a bit of good to do it.

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver"

II Corinthians 9:7

Many of the things I may suggest for you to do may not seem like much. They will definitely be easy and simple. Please don't let that fool you...Things don't have to be difficult or hard in order to get good results...They just need to be right (correct).

Christ never told anyone to jump through hoops. He made things simple and easy to those that truly wanted a change in their lives. To the ones that were making things difficult for others He told simple stories which seemed to confuse them. The parables really kept them occupied so that others could get blessed.

So speak blessings to people coming and going. In other words everyone you see or meet. If you're uncomfortable doing that:

• then say them in a very low voice at first.- Once you see what happens in your life and the more at ease you become just say the blessings a little louder until you are using your normal talking voice.
• don't look or wait for a response from the person. -You don't want them to give you anything in return.
• just give and go.- You're doing a quick thing. So drop your contribution (seed) and go.

It's Seedtime, you're just planting seeds in the ground (yourself and others). So plant a lot of them because farmers often place numerous seeds in one hole because some seeds may not be good(strong), enough to produce a good bumper crop (Harvest time).

So if you want an abundance (large amount) of blessings and prosperity..sow..sow..sow (and be glad or eager to do it).

This is for all of those who take the time to get the training necessary to help others.

Often when the Fathers calls people they don't take the time to receive the training they need (whether it's in a classroom or an experience). Many go before they are sent. We are constantly learning but the Father will make sure we get a good foundation along with some hearty fundamental material which can be shared.

Everyone doesn't want to stand in the position of a teacher but oftentimes the position doesn't require a person to be there for an extended period of time. Some people just have a way with words and some are able to demonstrate things very well. We find that eloquent words work well in some environments but short, sweet, and to the point also works well.
