Faith filled expectations
I have on many occasions had an opportunity to ask for something hoping and expecting to receive what I asked for. Whether you find yourself asking another person or your heavenly Father for something your expectations should be the same. Normally when you ask something of another you truly believe that person has the ability to assist you. You may not be sure if they will assist you but you do know that it's in that person power to take action on your behalf. When it comes to asking the Father for something it is in our best interest to know what our covenant rights are as well as the Father's take on the situation. You know, what does the Bible say about the matter. Notice that I said the Bible. Not what man is saying but the Word of God. Thoroughly search the Bible about a subject, take notes on the subject, and wait to receive the understanding from the Spirit of God. He brings all truths to mankind. Some answers may not be what you expect but be willing to receive truths and follow the guidance that He brings and great rewards will come to you. The Father is moved by faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God. Make sure when you ask Him for something you attach faith to it. Attaching faith to it shows that you believe He can and will do what you're asking of Him. This goes past hoping that He will do it. If you expect Him to move on your behalf while using your faith you will know with certainty. You will know without a doubt that you will receive what you asked for. Be observant when you ask for things (big or small). Note the circumstances and how you ask for something. When it's done correctly or I should say when asked in faith the results come quickly. There is absolutely nothing slow about the Living God.
" Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss..." (James 4:3)
