Live life to the fullest...Become a magnet for the miraculous!

Painful (user names and passwords)

I've been locked out of my sites because I failed to write my various login information in a safe place. Those sticky notes fall off the computer and some mistake them for trash. Now if I can just remember which book I'm logging them in. It is not safe to make every account have the same user name and password but that means keeping up with tons of them. This entire process can be all too stressful. I don't know which part is worst. Picking user names that haven't already been picked or losing the ones the site helped you pick. Add to that using multiple computers and we'll compound the problem. Oh well, must learn to adapt because the allure of the information highway is too great to pass up.

I'm having a problem keeping up with the log book that I'm putting them in. I try to do a bit of work on the computer when I'm stuck in the waiting mode(traffic, picking someone up from work or school...) I also take the log on trips especially when I'm visiting relatives. If I had a password logbook for every place I spend time in I'd never have time to do anything but duplicate my log books. The other thing that adds to this problem is that sometimes I work on the computer at home and sometimes I work on the laptop(they have different operating systems and software), I didn't want to buy more software. I must say that I welcome any helpful suggestions in this area.

Thanks I'll look into that. I just found the book(with my usernames and passwords), I carried on this trip. I hadn't heard of that software before but it sounds useful.
