Listen closely
I would like to press upon those who have an ear to hear when the Spirit is speaking. There are many that would say the voice that you hear is not that of the Lord's Spirit but that of your conscience or inner voice. Firstly, you must be sure of yourself (state or place), in the Lord. Secondly, you must come to a place of hearing and recognizing the Father's voice. No person or thing in this life should be able to sway your belief in the Father. This can be achieved by increasing your overall knowledge and relationship with the Father. I've said all of that to say this.... About 1 week ago the Father revealed to me that the brakes on our car were gone. I spoke to my husband (a few times)about the brakes and he assured me they were okay and that I was making something out of nothing. I didn't tell him where I had gotten the info from. Needless to say that voice was nudging me so I looked through the wheel and stuck my finger through it to touch the rotor. The rotors looked and felt fine. ....But that voice came again. I know from experience that it is usually critical when I get warnings so that's why I kept checking the wheels and the brake fluid reservoir. Finally, I just went and purchased new brake pads(I usually change them out myself). My God, my God. He has always been good to me. All I could do is bless Him. The brake pads were only as thick as a dime(US currency). On one of them it was a little thinner, the medal wedge should have made grooves in the rotor but it was still smooth. There was no way that I could have known the brakes were gone (I'm rarely in that car). All the checking I did showed that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. The Father has insight that we are not privy to (and that is in all things). It is much better to trust in Him and His knowledge because He will always do what is best for us.

Sister, I/m blessed by your testimony. I too thank God for his voice. I was driving the company car and noticed that the car seemed to wobble. I drove to Los Angeles from San Diego and then back. That was on a Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday i continued to drive the vehicle, even hoping to not release for maintenance until the end of June (3 weeks later) The following Monday, the Lord spoke to me that my car needed tires and that if I continued to drive on them the tires would blow out. I dropped that car off to the company mechanic for service. On Wednesday when I picked the car up the mechanic told me that it was good that I didn't wait another day to bring the vehicle in for service because the tires were bald and ready to burst. Praise the Lord. I thank God for his mercy and grace and love towards me. He is my keeper, my shephard.

It is amazing what God does for His children. I just pray more people develop the ability to hear and obey His voice. We have been raised to believe that our conscience or some unexplainable entity is talking to us. In reality the Father speaks to us at a very early age and we learn over time to tune Him out. He only speaks to us to help us. Sometimes we're in danger, sometimes He comforts, and sometimes it's just to let us know that He loves us and that we're special. Oftentimes we can't see that because we're focusing on negative things or things that are right in front of us. But if we can take a step back from the situation, we can see Him moving on our behalf. The Father is good to us ALL OF THE TIME:-)
