Live life to the fullest...Become a magnet for the miraculous!

Painful (user names and passwords)

I've been locked out of my sites because I failed to write my various login information in a safe place. Those sticky notes fall off the computer and some mistake them for trash. Now if I can just remember which book I'm logging them in. It is not safe to make every account have the same user name and password but that means keeping up with tons of them. This entire process can be all too stressful. I don't know which part is worst. Picking user names that haven't already been picked or losing the ones the site helped you pick. Add to that using multiple computers and we'll compound the problem. Oh well, must learn to adapt because the allure of the information highway is too great to pass up.

Live life to the fullest...Become a magnet for the miraculous!

Listen closely

I would like to press upon those who have an ear to hear when the Spirit is speaking. There are many that would say the voice that you hear is not that of the Lord's Spirit but that of your conscience or inner voice. Firstly, you must be sure of yourself (state or place), in the Lord. Secondly, you must come to a place of hearing and recognizing the Father's voice. No person or thing in this life should be able to sway your belief in the Father. This can be achieved by increasing your overall knowledge and relationship with the Father. I've said all of that to say this.... About 1 week ago the Father revealed to me that the brakes on our car were gone. I spoke to my husband (a few times)about the brakes and he assured me they were okay and that I was making something out of nothing. I didn't tell him where I had gotten the info from. Needless to say that voice was nudging me so I looked through the wheel and stuck my finger through it to touch the rotor. The rotors looked and felt fine. ....But that voice came again. I know from experience that it is usually critical when I get warnings so that's why I kept checking the wheels and the brake fluid reservoir. Finally, I just went and purchased new brake pads(I usually change them out myself). My God, my God. He has always been good to me. All I could do is bless Him. The brake pads were only as thick as a dime(US currency). On one of them it was a little thinner, the medal wedge should have made grooves in the rotor but it was still smooth. There was no way that I could have known the brakes were gone (I'm rarely in that car). All the checking I did showed that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. The Father has insight that we are not privy to (and that is in all things). It is much better to trust in Him and His knowledge because He will always do what is best for us.

Live life to the fullest...Become a magnet for the miraculous!

What has happen?

I've just experienced something very disturbing and shocking. I live in a somewhat secluded area of a very popular city. The neighborhood is for the most part quiet. That is until that span of time on Saturday mornings when my neighbor (whose trying to capture his imaginary life of an adventurer),cranks up his new quad 4 and rips across his backyard and over his handmade mound of dirt. Well, I head gun fire in my rather quiet neighborhood last night. At first it was in the distance, then closer, closer. My first thought was some nut with firecrackers going through the area but when it was right outside my window... Well having fired a gun a time or two you know the sound. I sat upright, having been startled by the close proximity of the sound I scrambled for the phone. It sounded as if it was a game of paintball. I phone 911 to have them hang up on me(not disconnected by accident). I called back and gave them the information. The police didn't show up until the next day. The other neighbors and I were furious. One of the neighbors has 1 bullet in her ceiling and 4 bullets in her wall. She had just left out of the room where the bullets entered. She thought it was just kids playing around. The woman could have been killed and where were the police? Of course the neighborhood had to come see the bullet holes in the side of her place. I'm still put off by the entire chain of events. The persons that were responsible for that fiasco were long gone this morning. And our quaint neighbor will never be the same. When do you get results...when someone gets killed? We are charged for the privilege of having 911 service(shows up on your phone bill) and tax dollars pay the salaries of law enforcement. What happens when neither work correctly? You ususally get a lot of casualties an equal amount of passing the buck(not back to the payer.) I don't know what can be done about this because they seem to lose paperwork in the shuffle. All I know is the events that are occurring on the news are now a little to close to home and the systems we have in place or not working.

Live life to the fullest...Become a magnet for the miraculous!

Moments

Many things in our daily lives are taken for granted. They are a normal part of our day, we see them without really seeing them.Today take the time to notice something...it may be a small thing. But take just a few moments. If you broke a leg or an arm and you had to do your normal activities, it would be quite an inconvenience for you to say the least. You have something to appreciate. No two people are the same but I am sure that everyone can enjoy something that occurs in their daily lives. The scent of a flower, a sunrise, a smile, or even the touch of the sun's rays on your skin. And at times you may have a sweet memory....
